100th Anniversary
Engine Company No. 112
Where as; Engine Company No. 112 of the Chicago Fire Department was organized on October 31st, 1907 under the supervision of Henry C. Schroeder, it’s first Captain, and was assigned to the 13th Battalion,
And Where as; Engine Company No. 112 was organized in a firehouse at
1732 Byron Street, and moved to new quarters at 3801 N. Damen Avenue on March 15, 1979 and serves the Roscoe Village, North Center and Ravenswood neighborhoods of Chicago’s North Side,
And Where as; Lieutenant William P. Butler and Firefighters William Huerta and Lawrence Kelly, members of Engine Company No. 112, gave their lives in the performance of their duties,
And Where as; many members of Engine Company No. 112 have received honorable mentions for heroic actions,
And Where as; John Byrne is the present Captain of Engine Company No. 112,
And Where as; on this date the members of Tower Ladder Company No. 21 and Ambulance Company No. 80, of the 5th Battalion of the 1st District celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Engine Company No. 112 of the City of Chicago,
It is hereby acknowledged by the FIRE MUSEUM of GREATER CHICAGO, its Board of Directors and its members, the dedicated service of the members of Engine Company No. 112 to the community through the saving of lives and property.

Where as; Engine Company No. 110 of the Chicago Fire Department was organized on September 7th, 1907 under the supervision of John Franzen, it’s first Captain, and was assigned to the 13th Battalion,
And Where as; Engine Company No. 110 was organized in a firehouse at
2541 W. Foster Avenue, and moved to new quarters at 2322 W. Foster Avenue on November 15, 1915 and serves the Andersonville, Bowmanville and Ravenswood neighborhoods of Chicago’s North Side,
And Where as; Lieutenant John M. O’Donohue and Fireman Frederick Esch both members of Engine Company No. 110, gave their lives in the performance of their duties,
And Where as; many members of Engine Company No. 110 have received honorable mentions for heroic actions,
And Where as; David Dietz is the present Captain of Engine Company No. 110,
And Where as; on this date the members of Hook and Ladder Company No. 12 and Ambulance Company No. 40, of the 10th Battalion of the 2nd District celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Engine Company No. 110 of the City of Chicago,
It is hereby acknowledged by the FIRE MUSEUM of GREATER CHICAGO, its Board of Directors and its members, the dedicated service of the members of Engine Company No. 110 to the community through the saving of lives and property.
